+1 I have seen Bismuth on several different servers over the last year and he has definitely improved over that time. It doesn't matter how many words you have in your app, its how you act on the server that actually matters. I feel like nitpicking different points of his app just show how mature you guys are. Bismuth, your reactions to these posts have shown your maturity, and you guys who have actually responded to his app is showing your immaturity. Fun Server has 2 staff members, realistically requiring more experience and more staff members. Let the guy go on his trial period and then see how he goes, its literally what the trial period is for. Good luck dude, looks like you're gonna need it

Hello I am Dubzz Fx and I'm 15 years of age, I've been playing for while now I'm currently rank 4 on skill surf and here is a small list for now with some of the easiest bugs to fix that would make the server alot better and more enjoyable for the people, so lets get started cheated times/glitched times: most of the t1 maps have cheated time such as surf_summit, surf_reprise, surf_nyx, surf_mesa_fix these are not all the maps but their are time are just unbeatable because remove a skip or the start zone like surf_rebel_resistance, surf_egypt and surf_overgrowth2. speedcap/server down: Kzg has alot on maps on it that don't have the right speedcap on it such as surf_fornax should be uncapped instead being 3500 surf_interference should be uncapped, surf_reprise should be 4500 surf_flow should be uncapped again this isn't all of them but it is a start. Now with the servers it always to be the top 200 and expert surf are always down so for the people that want to learn t4 plus we can't at this time. teleport: On some maps that would teleport you do a different part of the map can sometimes make you face backwards witch would make the map unplayable, I don't the maps names but the map would mostly have no completes and I would find them if a admin contacts me. max velocity: For the largest problem that effects all maps that actually requires max velocity, there is a peculiar bug which allows your speed to actually reverse your velocity while you should be maintaining max velocity, for example as you come off a ramp at max velocity while gaining velocity in the y direction from gravity, entering a ramp will sit you at 3300 adn you can see it battle itselft to increase speed but ends up losing speed, this should obviously not occur. This is especially frustrating for maps such as utopia which has max velocity as a major component to the skilled bunch or choose to surf the map for a good time. 2500 speedcap: There is a bug occurring on multiple servers which caps a players speed at 2500, they are not able to exceed this speed throughout any part of the map. Players have tried restarting their game and it becomes a game of luck whether the player can re-join without the speed cap. If you did take the time out of your day to read this and you agree to what I have to say about the surf servers please tell people so we can spread the word to start making this a more enjoyable to play on Dubzz Fx

Seems to be a sudden change of mind from some people from what i see on this app ? I was surprised that Bismuth is only 15, i have found him mature for his age in the servers i have seen him in. I have found him more patient and mature than a multitude of the people that have come here and -1'ed him. I haven't seen him on the fun mod server as i don't play there but i have never had to mute/gag him and i'm sure he is capable of controlling this kinda stuff on the fun mod server. Idk why people are mentioning his age and now that he fixed his app, the number of words in his app. His age doesn't matter, i can tell you for a fact being 18 doesn't make you mature and his app currently has more words than my application ever did so i feel like he is getting hard done by with these responses. So taking into consideration "MY" experience with you and the fact that the server needs more admins, +1, also since you have had to remove some vouches, chuck he in there.

I'm actually quite surprised that Bismuth is 15 years old, and I feel like people who commented about his age have not played with him at all. This "GUY" literally stated what's on my mind while reading this application. While being contained by rules, people generally choose to play community servers to have fun, while other people enforces these rules. Saying these points, Bismuth matches both of these description while seeing him play in a different server. -Bismuth has been helping people out regardless of their status on the server (beginners/regulars) , age, and nationality. -In my opinion, this application may be short BUT, if you people gave the chance to clearly read his answers, all of these answers are the only things needed for someone to know that he is devoted to the KZG servers and I DOUBT he would tarnish that by showing favoritism towards his friends, or abuse his powers. -His gametime on a server such as funmod is plenty enough for someone to get familiar with the rules, and based on what I'm seeing, funmod would need a helping hand by at least adding a moderator. It's a massive plus one from me +1 for reasons stated above ^ The fact that some people have actually -1 him for the sake of having a short application and his age disgusts me. I know i don't play FUN MOD server but from seeing him play in jailbreak (arguably one of the challenging servers in KZG to manage) he is MATURE for his age and he knows the KZG general rules by heart. -K.

I was surprised to read that you were only 15, I believed you were at least 17-20 by the way you conduct yourself on the servers. This is to say Bismuth is extremely mature for his age, he has never mic spammed nor harassed other players and plays along with jokes. When Bismuth joins JB he tries his best to enforce the rules he knows and learn the ones he's unclear with. Doing this on another server he isn't applying for demonstrates inherent staff qualities. I think most people are overlooking the purpose of the trial period: "I believe you would do this as admin..." There's no need to -rep or flame Bismuth for things you assume will happen. You may be right, you may not be, but these will surface during his trial period, so give the guy a chance. Bismuth is a prominent member of the KZG community hopping from server to server and always adding input on the forums. It is clear he wants to better the community. Good luck, I think you would be a good addition to the staff team :))

I'm gonna have to stay neutral on this one too. If you thought there was a staffing issue or existing issues you should of come to a current staff member about it. Last night when you asked me to vouch for you and I told you I wanted to see you more active so I can know you better I didn't expect you to ask again 3 hours later... You say you want to remove spammers, cheaters and abusers. I've been on the server ALOT and haven't come across this nor have I been notified to say someones hacking. The bhop server has an advanced cheat detector on it which I see real time who it suspects is cheating so I can go watch them and see if it is a false reading. This just seems like a thirst for power by how little time has been given. Try to show initiative, shut down the abuse if any, if you see it. Ask spammers to stop then contact an admin or give us evidence. Bhop doesn't have an issue currently as I feel you are trying to state? My tips as given to you at 9pm last night. Play more - Show me you're active and helpful, be nice and try stamp out any server negativity if there is any. Show initiative and report players or get me or another current staff member in to deal with ANY issue you see. Thanks for applying

Racism is not allowed on the server. I don't see people walking through the shopping centres yelling out that particular word. I don't see news reporters using that work. Why because it's racial slang and we want to provide a environment where people can feel welcomed and accepted. How hard is it just not to say it and then you say it and you complain about getting muted. Just because you think its okay because you hear it all day due to you jumping on a band wagon. I know you love your mumble rap because every kid at school loves it, doesn't mean that you have to be disrespectful individuals and our server rules. We provide servers as a non profit community not forcing shitty pay to win perks, so just respect the rules. Easy.

Let's also allow people to ghost, if they don't make it obvious and people don't complain then it doesn't matter. Maybe we should also let people abuse others cause it's just CS:GO right? These things happen in match making. So why enforce it? Rules are there to be enforced so that EVERYONE can have a good experience. This includes people who DON'T speak up and say they were offended. If people are saying derogatory slurs to again attention, as per the rules, they will be muted/gagged (at least on the AIM servers) . You may not find these words offensive and wouldn't care if they were changed for no other reason than, so admins don't have to mute people, but your missing the silent majority that do find it offensive. Also, if the same person is repeatedly breaking rules to gain attention, there are punishments that will escalate and eventually remove their attention seeking behavior.

too long to read.. but read it. wolvez is a good guy with no intention in doing anything bad he has always been a positive regular in the KZG community and no one crossed him in a bad way vice versa. I can recommend him but I won't because basically what the admins above said is what I am trying to say, and as I have told you from SK point of view, being an admin is a job really, a free part time job for the community we dont get paid but we do it to keep the community we like positive, im more on the front line in the server playing than here in the forums.. i mean it is a headache trying to enjoy the server while I have to manage 2 arguments, one mic spammer and people with advertising all at once which is why we have other admins to help me in sk! I originally never wanted to be an admin but thrasher and skypra asked me a few times and eventually I have accepted and changed my attitude to suit ofcourse. I only changed my mind because the server I like the most was getting infested with trolls and making it less fun, so I helped to make it a clean server up to this date. a lot of admin applications today are unnecessary to be frank, a lot just want to be able to have some power to mute and kick and I noticed that when some get perms they are concerned with their scores rather than applying action.. which is what I am feeling from you as you asked me many times to apply on SK and I said no for similar reasons admins wrote in the comments above. I personally as head admin in sk just ask players which I need, to apply .. half or more than the admins in SK are people I asked to apply not ones who approached me to apply as we need help rather than people with status. show leadership, your goal is to enjoy the game its a game at the end of they day you log in and out of, the purpose of being an admin is to help out. if help is needed staff might approach you.... I have tried to help in combat surf recently but i was rejected by people who dont understand what's going on and misunderstood what I am trying to achieve..while there is plenty of staff there I feel like some are doing a soft job and the trolls sprouting out from that specific server are spreading aids in other servers but many misunderstood what I am trying to achieve and thats all fine,.. I have been in the kzg staff longer than seniors here and was rejected so how will you change the server you are applying for if my help was misunderstood? stick around more, play more and rather than messaging admins you want to apply, show us youre actually helping.. jagz is a good example, he's too young to be admin but he's one of my right hand admins he always messages me when there is a hacker or a troll when he first started playing, keeps a sharp eye on players breaking rules even when I am in the game with him.. showed leadership and sky him self promoted him to admin. show us leadership it aint about getting perms.. also, stop using the voice changer its irritating and can't tell if its you or someone else every time lol. +- neutral .. play more, msg staff with material that can help us rather than when you want to apply and I guarantee you will be staff in no time.

Hello everyone, KZG is looking to host its first competitive night for the community in September, Event Info: Date: TBD (To be decided) Time: TBD (To be decided) SIGN UP FORM Server Info: Server will be 64 tick IP address and password will be released before the match Only 1 account will be allowed to play which is the account you have listed under the sign-up form, Anyone who isn't listed in the team playing is not allowed to join About: The comp night will run for approximately 3 hours, with 2 semi finals and 1 final game. There will be forum awards given to the winning team to commemorate the win, and another award given to match MVP's. There will be a random VIP prize for a random player for participation, and for match MVP for each game (3 in total). Users who are signing up for the event will have to agree to the rules below in-order to player, breaking any of the rules will result in a month ban and you will have less priority for future events as punishment. Any fake/trash entries will be deleted from the sign-up and when signing up make sure what you put down is correct or you may be disqualified and you will have less priority for future events. When the event is about to start we will have all participants in their respective discord channels (Will be created on the night of the event), and we will get the captain of each team to pick 2 maps out of the active map pool that they would like to play and ban 1 map each until it is decided which map will be played. We will start the game off with a knife fight to see which team gets to pick which side they would like to start off with. Each match will be approximately no more then a hour, so make sure you will be able to stay for 3 hours. The event servers will be hosted in Australia. Hello KZG Players Some other AWP administrators and i have decided to restart the AWP Tournament as the last post had been filled with spam this left the idea to be deserted. Because ofthis i have tried my best to take over the idea and changing it to make it as fun as possible for all KZG players that decide to play. I had Discussion with Dex Earlier and i have Revoked my +1 from his Application and turned it to a -1 from the shown behavior, i'm more disappointed on how Nolesy acted last night than anything i know he can be a good person and player but the people hes surrounded in just ruins it. Staff disrespect and player disrespect for that matter shouldn't go on in that manner and people just need to stop being so over the top and just generally toxic it ruins every community on every Game.

Seems like a very low effort unban appeal, and as Lemons himself said, it wasn't a private server. This behaviour just highlights the immaturity that the group of you possess, and I believe that none of you are fit for a staffing role at present. I'm going to request for Lemons to be demoted from admins and Janus's mod application denied. You can't just obey the rules when it suits you, or as an act, it's about being a genuinely positive member of the community as a whole. Just because this isn't your main server doesn't mean you can ignore the rules and make regulars of that server uncomfortable; if you can't be seen as a role model or at least a friendly, fair presence, then you have no place as a staff member. If any of you have noticed me acting somewhat cold to you, it's because I don't just sweep things like this under the rug and forget about them. Don't be surprised if you're held accountable for your past actions. Small misdemeanours that build up over time often reflect someone's true character (e.g. Janus's long list of mutes, gags, kicks and bans). While I try not to publicly call out or embarrass people as a courtesy, don't expect me to be friendly either. The same goes for other admins and regular players, if you don't do anything to earn our respect, we'll treat you accordingly.

You don't go shouting out that word in a public shopping center, so why would I allow it on the servers. Everyone has the right to play without being bullied or having racial slurs directed at them. Closing this as there is already multiple threads regarding this. Search next time

I can't really +rep or -rep, you seemed like a good lad when I saw you on the server, but the app makes it seem like you think anyone who doesn't enjoy KZG deserves to be banned? You say that mic spam and chat spam is a constant issue, but it's very rarely an issue on the bhop server, it's very chill and laid back, which makes me think you might think things that aren't spam, are, and therefore will wrongfully mute/gag people. All in all, your app makes you seem way too kick/ban/mute/gag happy, seeing issues with players on the server, where there are none. You don't have a huge amount of time on the server, and it's not like there's a lack of bhop staff. If I was you, I would have waited another week or two, so you were more well known on the server.

Thanks for the suggestions, next time show some respect or don't bother suggesting anything. We appreciate construction criticism but not with that attitude. I'll get a couple things done this weekend and DJ was already working on fixing the nominate bug. Closing this train wreck of a thread.

Despite what others have said on your app (and being highly immature at times ;)), multiple times I have firsthand seen you go out of your way to help new players out on the KZ server which is admirable. Your KZ skill level has also increased exponentially over the past month or so which is definitely a good sign. However, it is pretty safe to say that you're still quite a while away before we can accept you based on your immaturity.

Hello, I am posting this to get the communities opinion on the topic of Stages, specifically points in regards to completion of stages and stage records. The vote will have two questions: Should points be given out to players who complete a stage (players will not receive these points more than once, meaning no improvement points) Should extra points be given out to players who achieve a stage server record Keep in mind the points for these stages would be very low, something around 5 points for completion and 15 points for a stage record, and once a player has achieved their completion points for a stage, they cannot gain more points for completing that stage unless achieving the stage record. Pros of stage completion points: Allows players to be rewarded for achieving progression on maps Gives players a reason to attempt harder tier maps other than personal achievement Gives players who can't complete a entire map but only some stages points for beating those stages Cons of stage completion points: Easy to obtain Very low value Pros of stage record points: Gives players a reason to attempt stage records on maps that can otherwise be boring with nothing to do Rewards good surfers who achieve these records Cons of stage record points: Only the top 1% of the player base will most likely have these records and thus having a point increase for such players Feel free to discuss what you think in this thread as well!

Evening everyone, or morning if you're reading this in the morning. If you haven't already seen the title I am doing artwork for free. Yes some of you may say "What an idiot, why wouldn't he charge clients a certain fee for an artwork considering he is the most prestigious, creative and well-known graphic designer in the online gaming community" Well, I would simply reply with "It's not all about the money, the satisfaction that my clients receive is all I care about when making an artwork, knowing that a client is extremely happy with their product makes me happy and that is all I want in return when making an artwork" But yes, I am doing artworks for zilch, no money, no skins, no nothing.
